This lovely stone-built villa has been recently created from a traditional old Paxiot house and has been totally refurbished and transformed into stylish and high quality holiday accommodation capable of accommodating 2-4 in rural solitude.
The Villa is situated on the fringe of the tiny village of Fontana which is just a few houses, one church a shop and a taverna amongst ancient dry stone terraced olive groves.
The closest coastal village is Loggos which is 5 minutes away by car and, amongst the facilities on offer are 5 tavernas, 3 cafes, 2 bars, 2 mini-markets and a village bakery – plenty of choice for eating and drinking therefore. Magazia, the main village in the island centre, is only a couple of minutes drive and also has shops and tavernas but you must visit the wonderful old kafeneon - straight out of the 1930`s!
The villa sits in beautifully maintained, walled gardens mainly paved with stone and there is a private pool pool set in an area of wooden decking. There is a covered front terrace at first floor level with views across the Ionian Sea to Epirus in mainland Greece.
The main house on the first floor sleeps 2 but there is a separate, self-contained, ground floor annex which will accommodate another couple.
